Dear Parents,

            It is my honour to be addressing you as the Chairperson of the Laurier Macdonald Governing Board. I encourage all parents to participate actively in the school life of their child/children by becoming involved in the activities of the school and by attending Governing Board meetings.

            We wish to invite parents of the LMAC community to attend our scheduled meetings which are held in LMAC’s library at 7:00 pm. You are there as an observer, however, at each meeting there are two question periods. Please contact the school prior to the meeting so as to confirm that it is indeed taking place at the mentioned time and place.

At this time, I would like to wish our students a successful and memorable school year. I also extend a special thank you to our administration, teachers and staff of the school, who create an excellent learning environment for our children and who continue to better the communication, with parents, by providing up to date information on our LMAC website (currently being revised) and through the electronic address book of parents’ e-mail contact numbers, which provide a direct communication link between the school and our community members.
